In Year Admissions

Alde Valley Academy welcomes applications for in-year admissions—when a student wishes to join the school outside of the usual transition point (the start of Year 7). We understand that families may need to change schools during the academic year for a variety of reasons, and we aim to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible.

As part of Suffolk’s coordinated admissions arrangements, in-year applications are managed in line with Suffolk County Council guidance. Families should refer to the Suffolk County Council in-year admissions process for general information and procedures.
