Year 11 Study Leave

Study Leave (from Monday 2nd June)

After May half-term, students will have the flexibility to choose between continuing to attend their normal timetabled lessons or staying at home for study leave. This decision allows students to adopt the study approach that best suits their needs.  The following two scenarios should clarify the expectations:

What happens on a day where I have an exam?

  1. A student can sign in before their exam (8.45am or 12.45pm) and sign out immediately after.

  2. A student remains in school for the entire day, arriving at 8.45am and departing at 3pm.  If students choose to attend school, they must remain in school for the whole day and will not be allowed to sign out.

What happens on a day where I do not have an exam?

  1. A student can remain at home and revise independently.

  2. Should a student prefer the option to study in school, they will attend for the full day and remain in school all day, following their normal timetable.
