Safeguarding at Alde Valley Academy

At Alde Valley Academy, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported.

In line with the Department for Education’s Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, we ensure that all staff are trained to recognise and respond to any concerns. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we take this duty seriously.

Our core values — Lead with Kindness and Stronger Together — guide our approach to safeguarding. We believe that kindness creates trust and safety, and that by working together as a community, we can protect and support every child to thrive.

We work in close partnership with families and external agencies to promote wellbeing, provide early help, and respond swiftly to any issues.
